Between the Real and the Remembered
I created this book by blending three interconnected projects; The Foothills, Frequent stops and New Topographics Re-imagined; built with AI.
I chose these three projects as a way to explore how I see, record, and reinterpret my experiences; and during the process I looked into how memory, decay, and technology shaped my sense of place over the past four years.
While making this book, it was important for me to work with the newest tools and technology so it would speak to the present and reflect the time we are living in right now.
I curated these images to move from the tangible world to the imagined to reveal what time leaves behind and what we try to reconstruct.
